How do I connect a sub from the GFP-915 to a GFA-555ii? Derrik Pulliam asked on March 14, 2024

The GFP 915 can use unbalanced and balanced outputs simultaneously. You may use the unbalanced channel to the GFA 555ll as a sub and then use the balanced channel to the stereo power amp.
Or use an RCA splitter adapter to connect between the sub amp and stereo power amp.

The GFP-915 is a fine piece of equipment. I had to have a preamp with a remote and tone control. It produces an excellent sound with more than enough bass. Pairs excellent with my GFA-555.

Got the GFP-915 couple weeks ago. The sound clarity and details are fantastic. Hearing notes and instruments I have not heard before on some tracks. I was looking for just a great quality DAC to push my Arcam amplifier and BW 702S2. Totally worth it.

  2. Wyatt T.

  3. Lucas

Delighted with my new preamp. Adcom’s customer service was informative and helpful, making the process seamless. I sent in my old Adcom preamp for credit to my account, and the service, communication, and overall process were excellent. The sound from my new preamp is exceptional.

  4. Henry S.

I was pleasantly surprised when the preamp arrived at my house only 6 days after placing the order. It arrived in perfect condition and works fine. The only thing that I would have wished for is an email update telling me that the preamp had shipped. It would have been good to know the status of the order. Thanks for a fine piece of equipment.

  12. Todd (Verified Owner)

I marked it down a bit… only because I liked your old GFP 555 II better as it has plug ins for the Amp and others in the back so when I turn on the pre-amp it turns on the Amp automatically.

Delivery of the ADCOM GFP-915 was made within five days of ordering the product. The packaging was completely secured and clean. Since I have not had the chance to assemble the GFP -915 with the other Adcom products I possess at this point, I will not be able to comment on the performance of the unit. However, I believe it will perform or outperform just like the other ADCOM products I own.

  14. Ramon Romero (Verified Owner)

    Great buy. Sounds flawless.

  15. Daniel N. (Verified Owner)

    Clear, hum-free, distortion-free sound.
